Murray Kerr is Senior Vice President of Data and AI at Xoople, where he leads the engineering team developing the image processing, data products, and artificial intelligence capabilities that power Earth’s System of Record™. With more than 20 years of experience spanning aerospace, software, AI, and geospatial technology, he specializes in building high-performing teams and delivering complex technical systems at scale.
Prior to joining Xoople, Murray spent more than 16 years with Deimos, ultimately serving as Chief Engineer and CTO for Space Systems. In that role, he led engineering strategy, technology development, and technical delivery across a broad portfolio of satellite and space programs. His work has included major programs such as Space Rider/IXV and SAT4EO, innovative HW/SW products such as Insight4EO, and R&D programs such as EO-ALERT.
Earlier in his career, Murray held research positions at the University of Leicester and Texas A&M University. At Xoople, he focuses on transforming Earth observation data into intelligence that helps organizations make better decisions at planetary scale.
