Fabio Pacifici is Senior Vice President of Engineering at Xoople, where he leads the development of the technologies powering the company’s Earth Intelligence and EarthAI capabilities. With more than two decades of experience spanning Earth observation, artificial intelligence, and computer vision, he is recognized as a leading innovator in the global geospatial industry.
Before joining Xoople, Fabio held senior research and engineering leadership roles at DigitalGlobe and Maxar Technologies, where he helped shape the future of commercial Earth observation through breakthrough advances in imaging technology, geospatial analytics, and AI-driven solutions. Among his many achievements, he played a key role in the development of several industry-first capabilities, including the world’s first commercially available 15 cm high-definition satellite imagery, and in doing so set new industry standards.
A respected thought leader and active contributor to the scientific community, Fabio has authored more than 100 publications, technical papers, and patents, and holds leadership positions within the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. At Xoople, he focuses on transforming Earth observation data into actionable intelligence that helps organizations better understand, monitor, and manage our changing planet.
