Xoople in 2026: Building Earth’s System of Record™

September 2026

Earth is one of the most heavily observed objects in existence. Satellites pass over it constantly. Sensors measure it continuously. Every day, trillions of data points capture what is happening across our planet.

Yet for most organisations, the physical world remains fragmented, difficult to understand and even harder to act upon. Observation is abundant. Trusted intelligence is not.

That gap is the reason Xoople exists.

Our purpose is to build Earth’s System of Record™: a continuously updated, global source of truth for the physical world that transforms constant observation into intelligence that people, businesses and AI systems can rely on. We believe organisations should be able to understand and act on physical change with the same confidence they apply to their financial and digital systems.

It is an ambitious challenge, and it is the reason the last twelve months have looked the way they have.

The hypothesis

Enterprises do not need more imagery. They need a system of record for the physical world: continuous, consistent, queryable and trustworthy enough to sit beneath decisions that carry real consequence.

That is what we mean by the Intelligence Layer, and it is a harder problem than the space segment alone. It requires satellites, data engineering, AI and domain science working as a single system to transform constant observation into something organisations can trust in the same way they trust their financial ledgers.

Bringing all of those capabilities together is why we have grown the way we have.

The constellation

The constellation is being co-developed with L3Harris Technologies, a partnership we announced in April after seven years of work conducted largely in stealth.

L3Harris builds some of the world’s most advanced commercial imaging systems in orbit. We build the data infrastructure that turns measurement into something machines can use. The optical and sensor design that emerged from those seven years is what makes the rest of this possible: precision and speed beyond what is currently available in commercial Earth observation.

It was not designed simply to produce images for human analysts to interpret. It was designed to feed AI systems that need to understand what is happening on the ground, at scale and in near real time.

Where we build

Over the last year, we opened three new subsidiaries, each created to access a specific capability rather than simply establish a local presence.

Boulder, Colorado serves as our US headquarters. It sits within one of the world’s most concentrated ecosystems for Earth observation science, alongside a deep talent pool spanning enterprise AI and advanced technology. Our growing team draws from all three.

London places us at the centre of one of the world’s leading technology hubs. This is where we are building our Data and AI capabilities, hiring talent from both big technology companies and data-intensive industries well beyond the space sector. That mix is intentional. The hardest problems in our stack are not orbital.

Singapore anchors our APAC business. The region is seeing growing demand for current, reliable Earth data across supply chain management, maritime operations, agriculture, climate resilience and infrastructure planning; areas where annual surveys and static datasets are no longer sufficient.

Who builds it

We were 34 people in 2025. We are now more than 130 and continue to grow across North America, Europe and APAC.

Headcount alone matters less than the capabilities behind it. Building Earth’s System of Record™ requires expertise spanning Earth observation science, AI, data engineering, enterprise software, commercialisation and product innovation. Over the last year, we have significantly strengthened our leadership team with executives drawn from some of the world’s leading technology organisations.

Among the latest additions are Pearl Chen, Chief Commercial Officer, who brings more than two decades of leadership experience across Microsoft, AWS, SAP, GE Digital and Bain & Company; Jessica Dye, Chief Marketing Officer, who has built and scaled global marketing organisations across data, AI and enterprise technology businesses; and Dr Linda Sheard, Vice President of Analytics and Agentic Products, whose experience spans AI, enterprise software, scientific research and product innovation, including senior leadership roles at Microsoft and IBM.

Together, they reflect the calibre and diversity of talent joining Xoople as we move from building the foundations of Earth’s System of Record™ to bringing it to market at global scale.

We are hiring across all three locations, with additional opportunities to be announced in the coming weeks.

Who we build it with

We continue to work alongside partners and customers across critical infrastructure, energy and AEC sectors.

They are using products from our Time Series portfolio against live operational challenges in their own environments, and what they tell us feeds directly into the roadmap.

This is the part that matters most. A design partner who uses a product every week and tells us honestly what works, what does not and what is still missing creates more value than any amount of internal conviction about what the market wants.

If you work with Earth data and the current answer is not good enough, we would like to hear from you.

Where this leaves us

Growth. Funding. New locations. New products. An extraordinary team.

Those are the headlines, and they are all true. But the story beneath them is simpler.

Seven years in stealth delivered a sensor design and data platform that did not previously exist in commercially deployable form. The Series B funds the constellation that will power it. The team we have assembled is what turns both into something organisations can rely upon every day.

We are building the infrastructure that allows the physical world to be measured, understood and acted upon with the same confidence businesses already apply to their financial and digital systems.

Every satellite, dataset, partnership and hire moves us closer.
